Keeping magic after marriage and kids

How to keep the magic after marriage …and especially after having kids. Here in Italy, I see many couples losing very easy their magic just right after getting married. And is very sad. I know it might be not easy sometimes, but it’s also not so hard. I also know how tough it might be right after pregnancy when a baby arrives. There is no time to think of magic, just please let me sleep. You two are so overwhelmed in the middle of all those diapers, and cries, you are simply busy being a parent. We were there too. I can even tell you, that when my daughter was around 3-4 months old, I just went crazy. I don’t know what was that, maybe the happy hormones start lowing down and the tiredness accumulating. But we had a very very hard first year, I think especially my husband. Once we said if we marry we marry once. And we want to do all our best to keep that magic as on the first date also after 10..,20..,50 years of marriage. Plus I know, I need that fire all the time, otherwise, I get bored too quickly. And a few important moments will help to remind you of such a great couple you are 🙂 This post contain affiliate links. Means that I can get commission. And it wouldn’t have any extra charge for you. Go for dates, without kids Leave your kids with grandparents or nannies just for one evening. You two were here first, and after arrived your kids. So remember about the importance to stay together in private. You can even make a rule, that one day a week you spend time only with your partner. Ether entire day, or evening, do what suits you better. Go to dinner, or for a small trip, or even a simple walk, something that is also easy, just to spend that time together. Remember about your marriage duty Here mean sex. It must not disappear from your life, even after kids, even after many years. Try to be attractive, especially at home. Stop being dressed who knows how. Take care of your body, keep your hair clean and beautiful, you might use just a little bit of make-up and perfume also at home. And dress nice, maybe choose a little bit sexy dress for sleeping, instead of pagama with teddy bears. I take it as my responsibility to discharge my man sexually before he goes out of the house, or when he is back home. Keep improving yourself instead of judging your partner Just make yourself e better person, inside and outside. If something doesn’t go well, and you find yourself only judging your partner and seeing the negative side. Turn on yourself, and try to see how you can improve yourself first. Your partner will notice it and will to do a step forward to become better too. Talking, but also listening back Keep talking to each other, not yelling or picking. But just simple talk, low tones, good mood, confident and sweet face. About everything that worries you, or makes you happy. Ask your partner about his/her feelings or needs. And be patient and compassionate, listen to your partner and try to hear exactly what she or he means. Share the life, but give also a space for each other Sometimes we might spend too much time together. In this case, try to understand when your partner needs a space. Or you two might even say it. And both of you must respect needing of each other. Ether you wanna stay just alone, or meet your friends or family without your partner. Maybe even organize a small trip. Is always a special feeling when you start missing your loved one and waiting when you two to meet again. Do activities together  Train together, cook together, travel together. Do something that both of you like to do, and never forget about it. You must share happy moments all the time. Just live that magic inside yourself first I think the most important is to feel that magic of your life, of yourself, within yourself. And then everything becomes special. Practice awareness, meditate and study spiritual philosophy and be happy inside first. Then your happiness and love and magic will be spread around. The last thing I would like to add… the magic you must feel from the very first beginning with your partner. You must know what it means for you and search for it, first inside of you. Then in the relationships. But you must be fulfilled and satisfied with yourself first, and then the right person will come. Because, if the magic is lost quickly, maybe is simply the wrong person. Don’t be scared to stay alone, but fight for your happiness. For the ones who is going through some difficulties I recommend this Save Your Marriage System created by a veteran of marriage therapy Lee Baucom. Don’t be shy to share a story of your marriage. Contact me here or leave the comment below about your tips on keeping the magic. Read also TRUE LOVE STORY… STARTED FROM THE PLANE. With love, Marghe   Read More

All of us have our ups and downs. To be frankly, right now I am not living my best moment. I can even say that is the hardest period of my entire life. But once you become less happy and less satisfied, it will be harder to get yourself up from tuff moments. Plus we might start forgetting the simple joys, and things that make us happy as time passing. So, I think to be contented we must be not only physically happy, but we have to be also mentally happy. How did I treat Covid at home

Last year my husband got Covid two times, and he had also heavy symptoms. Here I would like to share how we was able to treat Covid at home without going to the farmacy and calling a doctor. 1. Fasting You can call it fasting, or detox. But I use this tool since I was working as a model in China. My goal is not to lose weight but to cleanse my body. Usually once in two weeks, I have one to three days of fasting. Means I spent these days not eating at all, but only drinking. I usually drink water, teas, and fresh juices. Of course, it will help you to lose a few kilos, but remember that the main goal is detoxications. But I want to warn you. If you have never done fasting, or you did but a too long time ago, remember to start slowly. Firstly you should prepare your body, which means for a couple of months before starting you should switch to a vegetarian or better vegan diet. Why? Because if you start fasting without any preparation, your body will throw away all the toxins altogether. That means that instead of detoxication you will get intoxication. And one more thing, before you fast I recommend you to read this small book by Paul Bragg “Miracle of Fasting”. There you will find all the useful information to run your fasting safely. Subscribe to my blog and I will share this book with you! 2. Vegan diet The best way to treat Covid at home is to change your diet. As you guys know, I am a vegetarian since I got pregnant. But from August 2021 I decided to be more vegan. We eliminated dairy products in our family. This means we don’t eat cheeses, milk, and yogurt. But what we eat are tofu, soya milk yogurts, and different kinds of beans. We might still eat eggs, but very rare. As many studies show, people who follow a vegan diet are at lower risks of having Covid complications. People following a vegan diet have a stronger immune system because they consume a lot of vegetables and beans, and no dairy products. And as we know, diary products create a lot of mucus in the body. I won’t go so far, you always can study this information at your own pace 😉 I leave here also this Vegan Cook Book with over than 100 plant recipes. 3. Big mounts of Vitamins Not all the vitamins. With all my family during the entire winter, we are taking Vitamins C, D, B, E, and zinc. And now while being sick I take all the same but ten times more. 4. Garlic Garlic is the strongest natural antibiotic. Is the first thing you must remember to treat Covid at home. And usually, if you are with positive test your doctor will tell you to take antibiotics straight away. Even in my case, with small symptoms, I got the same recommendations. But instead of that, I simply added two-three fresh cloves of garlic to my meal for a few days. Once I started with garlic my fever finished and I started feeling much better. The same thing did my husband, when he was sick he was eating even more garlic than me, and he healed! Only one tip, if you decide to heal with garlic ask your partner to eat it too. Because if only one will eat, the other will suffer the smell too much 😉 5. Yoga Here I won’t talk much, Yoga is good for everything, from everything. Simply in the moment of having Covid, I change my practice, to make it more gentle and added more breathing exercises. You can also check this post How yoga changed my life. The story of a Yoga Teacher 6. Neti Pot Neti Pot is an Indian ceramic pot, used to clean the nostrils. Is one of the Hatha Yoga cleaning techniques called Shatkarmas. You add warm salty water to the pot and make the water run from one nostril to the other. I started with this technique at the same time as of August 2021. I do it as often as possible, almost every morning. Conclusion I shared with you my tricks to prevent the heavy covid situation. And now being covid positive I only confirm to myself that I did a good job, and I proved that my body doesn’t need a heavy injection, that my body is strong enough to pass it as a simple seasonal cold. Feel free to share your tips in the comments or contact me straight away. Take care of yourself and your loved one! Your Marghe. Read More

Sattvic diet and what is Sattva

The best description about Sattvic Diet gives Bhagavad Gita: The food which increase purity, strength, health, and joy are sattvic. Bhagavad Gita Sattva – the energy of peace Sattva is one of the three energies of the mind, or gunas. The Sattvic diet consists of pure food that provides health, energy, joy, peace and clarity. Our mind and body are strongly influenced by what we eat and drink. A sattvic meal is prepared from fresh, natural ingredients. It is eaten freshly cooked and in moderate amounts, sitting down, and taking your time. It is easy to digest and leaves you feeling light and energized. SATTVIC FOODS are • whole grains• fresh vegetables• ripe fresh fruits• nuts, seeds and legumes• milk products• not too exciting spices• natural sweeteners But for myself, I exclude dairy products. So what are the other two energies, or gunas? Rajas – the energy of negative emotions Ragas is energy of agitation. Rajastic foods increase negative emotions, such as lust, anger, greed, selfishness, violence, and egoism. Rajastic foods are excessively pungent, bitter, sour, salty, dry, and burning. Tobacco is rajastic, and sattvic foods eaten in a hurry becomes rajastic. RAJASTIC FOODS are Tamas – the energy of laziness Tamas is the energy of resistance. Tamastic foods are stale, decomposed, or unclean and can make you full, inert, lazy, and depressed. Meat, poultry, fish and all intoxicants (such as alcohol, marijuana, and opium) are all tamastic in nature. Sattvic food taken in excessive quantity (overeating) becomes tamastic. TAMASTIC FOODS are Conclusion If you have any doubt it’s very easy to check. Try follow your mood and attitude and general body feeling after your meal. And you will see the answer 🙂 Also check out this post EAT LESS – THE KEY OF HAVING MORE ENERGY. Finding yourself after having a baby

Honestly, I would never imagine this topic. My life as a mother would be easier if somebody told me those very easy tips for fining myself after having a baby. As I was doing everything the opposite way and becoming less happy. It took me a while to understand that exist not only my daughter and all my duties, but also me. That I should never forget about myself first. And one of my first duties as a mother and a wife is to be happy, light and restored. Even that is not easy sometimes, and I just wanna do as maximum is possible for my family until there is a moment when I can’t do it anymore. And is wrong. I wrote down those tips also for me, to don’t forget 🙂 1. Ask for help Ask your friends, grandparents, nanny, or daycare. Depends on the situation you have. But don is a shame to ask for help. Since ancient times women was helping other women. Just families and communities before were much bigger. But is in our feminine blood to help each other, especially to new mothers. Thins also about a babysitter or a daycare. I tried many nannies, but It was simply not my option. When my daughter turned 9 months old she starts going to a daycare in Bali. Find what works better for YOU and don’t compare yourself with others. 2. Exercise To keep your mind fresh try to train every day. It can be yoga, running, bicycle, swimming. When your baby is sleeping, or even together. It is important to start slowly and small. No need to run a marathon in your unique free hour. Is enough 15-20 minutes a day, or few times a day. 3. Go for a date with yourself  Leave your baby with one of the options above and instead of cleaning the house just dress nicely and go out. Take a cup of coffee in the place you like, take a walk with the earphones listening to your favorite music, meet your friends or go shopping. Even if you don’t need to buy anything just go to see and try something new. 4. Be beautiful even at home  Don’t wait when you will be invited to a super event. Dress for the event at home. Start using accessories and nice dresses, do a bit of make-up and fix p your hair. When the baby arrives we spend a lot of time at home, and better to feel ourselves beautiful also at home. It will cheer you up and your partner will be way happier to see you perfect at home. In India, women dress their best dresses at home and I took it as a tip. 5. Have time alone with your partner Important not to forget about each other. After all, you two happened first, and the baby is a product of the love of two. It can be a tuff moment for both because all the attention is now around a little one. But try to take care of each other, stay together when is possible. 6. Do one new thing everyday  Read a new book, draw, go to a new place, or use a new road, or simply change a nail polish color. One new small thing a day will change a feeling of monotony. 7. Start working or find your hobby If you think that is time to go out of the house, a good solution is to find a part-time job or a hobby. But remember, it is just something that makes you more inspired and alive, not more overwhelming. Maybe you would like to come back to your old job or to start something completely new. Just do it! You will find a way to find a time for it, only a few hours a day, or a week. If the mother is happy then everyone around is happy, right? Check out also my post about Water Birth. Vegetarian menu. What I ate this week + 9 recipes

Those are the favourite dishes of my husband and two-year-old daughter. Since I became a mom I cook a lot, basically every day, few times a day. But, frankly, I am not the person who likes to stay by the oven all day. Here you find easy and fast vegetarian recipes from our menu of this week. If you would like to learn more about plant-based diet, I have written a guide exactly for this occasion. It called Plant-based Eating: A beginners guide to optimal health, sustainable weight loss and increased energy. With the help of this guide, you will be ready to step into the world of plant-based eating in no time and set yourself up for success. The cost of the book is only $7. You can buy it here. Enjoy! Also take a look of this post where I explain why is better to switch to a vegetarian or vegan diet What is Sattva and why I choose Sattvic diet. P.S.: There are no exact amounts of ingredients, to let you be free to regulate the taste as you want. 1. Breakfast super smoothie How to prepare: Put everything in the mixer and mix until the consistency you like. 2. Avocado toast with pesto and rucola How to prepare: Toast the bread. Spread pesto over the bread. Add sliced or mashed avocado, add fried or boiled egg, add seeds and nuts and put rucola over. Sprinkle with lemon. 3. Frittata with ricotta and cappers  How to prepare: Put olive oil in the frying pan and put it to heat. Beat the eggs in the bowl and add them to the pan. Cook on the middle fire and let the egg spread everywhere. Add fresh ricotta and washed cappers, as canned cappers are usually too much salty. Cook for about 6-7 minutes and turn or fold it. If your frittata is too big then cut it into four pieces and turn each piece. Cook for another 3 minutes. Add pepper by your taste. 4. Pasta salad with walnuts  How to prepare: Boil the water in the pan. Add salt and pasta. In the meanwhile chop tomatoes and zucchini in the bowl. Smash fresh tofu. Cut the walnuts. Add tofu and walnuts to the bowl. Add pesto and oregano. When pasta is ready add it to the bowl and mix it all together. When serving add olive oil. 5. Hummus How to prepare: Mix all together in the mixer until pure consistency. Serve with pitta or bread, carrots, and celery. This one is my favorite vegetarian recipe. 6. Polenta with lentil stew How to prepare: To make it faster I use polenta already ready and canned bio lentils and tomato pulp. In a big frying pan or wok stew the garlic with grated carrots until softening. Add tomato pulp and oregano. Add a half glass of hot water together with soya. Let it cook on the small fire for another 5 minutes. In meanwhile cut the polenta into small pieces and add it to the frying pan. Cook for more 3 minutes. Take off from the fire and add cream. 7. Cream leak soup  How to prepare: Wash leek and peel potatoes. Cut everything and add it to the pan with olive oil. Fry for few minutes and add hot water. Add salt to your taste and cook until the potato is soft. Mix all with a blender and add cream. Serve with olive oil and crispy bread or crackers. 8. Rice with tofu and broccoli How to prepare: Boil broccoli. When broccoli is ready put them on the side in the bowl or plate. Use water from broccoli to cook the rice. Cut tofu in slices and fry with spices. When tofu is ready, serve it all together in a bowl with olive oil. 9. Fresh salad  Here I use any kind of vegetables which can be eaten fresh depends on the season. My favorite salad consists of salad leaves, tomatoes, cucumbers, grated carrots, soya sprouts, sliced champignons, olives, and seeds, all dressed with olive oil. I know it might be frustrating to create something new everyday. You might do a huge research yourself and save plenty of vegetarian and vegan recipes from different sites and blogs. Or you can check out my Plant-based Eating guide. There you’ll find also few new recipes 🙂 Stay healthy, fresh, and conscious! Feel free to comment below on which vegetarian recipe you like the most. To be a model. Lessons I’ve learned during my career

I had my first modelling experience when I was 5 years old. Then I restarted at 13 and at my 15 I got my first contract in Tokyo. I didn’t take it seriously, because I didn’t even gain. But all of the sudden it became a job of my life. After passing a model school and creating a model career those are the lessons I learned for my whole life. They are not useful only for a model, absolutely not, but for every girl or woman in general. 1. Straight back is the key to success It gives confidence. But confidence is the way to be successful. Our body most of the time speaks for us, we express emotions and feelings through the body. But at the same time by the positions and movements, we can change negative feelings and emotions to positives. To me, it took years of yoga to open my chest and feeling comfortable with a straight back. 2. Never stop studying To be a model doesn’t mean to stop studying. Means to be updated on the news, to be educated, intelligent, to have a sense of humor, etc. The more interesting person you are, the more people wanna work with you. 3. Practice a confident walking To walk confidently on high-heels you must practice… a lot. Not only models, I think all women must be able to flow while wearing high heels. Before my first walk at the fashion show, I took plenty of classes in our model school. 4. Being in good shape but healthy Is not welcome to be extremely skinny, or sick-looking. Better to be concentrated on a balanced diet and at least a minimum amount of exercise. I 5. Competition doesn’t exist Everyone is perfect, in her way. We are all different, and we are all beautiful. 6. Know your body Means knowing what fits you or not, knowing your best angles and which poses are the best for you. Take your time to play in front of the mirror and explore your body. We are girls after all and we have complete rights to do that 🙂 7. Smile with eyes It’s very simple. Only what you need is to create a light inside of you. It can be a pleasant memory or feeling. This skill not only important for pictures but also to communicate with other people. 8. We can do much more than we think Just not be scared, just let it flow and you will see. When we used to do more it becomes very natural. 9. Be happy without thinking of money Less you think for the money and the more you enjoy what you are doing, the more money you get. The fact of my life. If you are thinking to try to become a model, check this website modelmagement.com, there you will find many tips and even to find an agency near your city, or even start woking straight away by applying for online castings. Please feel free to leave your comments or contact me here 😉 Wish you a great day, Yours Marghe. Read More

Motorhome vs. campervan + travel checklist (honest review)

I think many of us think what is actually better, motorhome or minivan? But there is no exact answer, better if you try both 🙂 Here I prepared our own experience, considering that we did seven month of travel in motorhome, and my husband had minivans for more than 20 years. The itinerary. Driving from Italy to Africa Thanks to travellerspoint.com for creating personal travel map. Four months Honeymoon Once we bought our camper we had a trial in Isola D’Elba for two weeks. Almost all that time we spent organising the car in our way and just a little bit to enjoy the trip. After we went to France for the whole September and then I realized that is quite challenging. Because you stay together 24/7 with the person you travel. Yes, it was a big camper but after all, we were always together in a small space. After France, we had to come back to Italy… To marry 🙂 We had passed the challenge of camper! And immediately after that, we went for a very long honeymoon. From Italy, along the seaside in Portugal until Morocco. We saw the biggest waves in Nazare, we saw a real Morocco outside of resorts and big cities, we hid inside of our camper during the trip by boat. And we came back home in three. What to consider while travelling by camper: Motorhome or minivan? It took us months to find a perfect solution for us. My husband is a super experience, he has years of traveling with a Minivan and even a Volkswagen Retro van, which he changed by himself from a normal van to a campervan. But for me, it was absolutely a new experience. And he decided to try a motorhome this time, so at least it was new also for him. Minivan means small space Minivan is way much smaller, which makes it easier to get to some places. But also it means that inside you have much less space. It would be perfect for one person, but I saw people traveling in two, or two plus dog, or even two plus a baby. And I would say that these people are very brave. Because you have to be good at organising your space in a minimalistic way but at the same time functional way. Be ready to switch bed with the kitchen every single day and to search for a toilet in an open space. People who travel by minivan spend most of the time outside, even for a shower and cooking. But exists also the option with a kitchen inside and even a tiny bathroom. It always depends but what kind of van you chose, if it’s already a ready one or a DIY. There are no limits to creativity. For me, honestly, it would be difficult to live five months in a van. I saw plenty of these beautifully designed minivans on Pinterest, with an ocean view from the bed. And is magnificent images, which make you dream about your one. But when you try, you might change your idea. In my opinion, is very suitable for short trips and only in nature. In the case of traveling for many months, and not look like a monkey if you wanna stop in the city is better to get a Motorhome. Benefits of a motorhome Big space, we had enough space for two. Our camper had a kitchen, dining area, shower, and the bad which was always there, ready. We could hide there on rainy days and still feeling at home. There also was hot water and general heating, which was super helpful during cooler days. Imagine how incredible it is, you come back after surfing in the cold ocean, you have your house just a few steps there on the same beach, and you can take a hot warming shower and even dry your hair with a hairdryer. Cool huh? After all, you feel wild the same, but a little bit with more comfort and space. We could take two bicycles, skateboards and surfboards. Traveling with your home on wheels is an unforgettable experience. You see what others don’t see. And if you still think what suits you better motorhome or minivan, I encourage you to make a list of your needs and visualise how you trip might go. Then just go to the store and check what your market is offering, what you like more motorhome or minivan. Hope it was useful. Feel free to leave the comment or contact me here. Benefits of Yoga. And why people do Yoga?

The concept of yoga is the way more complicated than other might think. Is not only a physical activity to have less back pain or meditations to reduce stress, which are only smaller part of benefits of yoga. Is the way much deeper, is the way you decide to live you life. Check out also HOW YOGA CHANGED MY LIFE. THE STORY OF A YOGA TEACHER. «When we practice, we experience. When we experience, we are completely convinced of the effects of yoga. And when we are involved, we can involve others. We may share different concepts of yoga to our friends and family according to what we’ve got experienced». Yoga – To Yolk – Union  Union with people, nature, with yourself and higher reality. It about getting back our awareness  about life and ourselves. Yoga us a union and way to that union. Why people do Yoga? For training and controlling four aspects: While we are practicing yoga for bettering our body it will work on our attitude, breath, mind, emotions, moral duty, action and most importantly our interpersonal relations.  The different paths of Yoga 1. It’s performance of our daily life (work) with constant awareness and without any expectation of reward. It’s about living at the present moment. This path is open to everyone. But it requires selfless, as well as concentrated actions and awareness. Result is less emotional and mental upsets in life and peace.  3. Jnana (Mental) – knowledge, wisdom, self inquiry, intuitive.  The truth is realised through inside. This path is open but only few people are really ready for it. Jnana Yoga requires an obsession to find out the answers. To make progress we have to throw out all definitions about our existence.  4. Raja – Royal, 8 limbs, self mastery, Hatha Yoga. Hatha Yoga ‘Ha’ – sun; ‘tha’- moon It’s a balance of opposites, dualities of life through physical practice. Preparation for Raja Yoga, to step on the next level. Withdrawal of the senses (Pratyahara) 6. Concentration (Dharana) 7. Meditation (Dhyana) 8. Identification with pure consciousness (Samadhi) Benefits of Yoga  Physical  Mental And is not all!
